Caroline Kennedy drops out of the contentious spot for U.S. Senator to replace Hillary Clinton's spot as one of two U.S. Senators from New York.
Rumors are flying that this was the work of the Clintons in conjunction with Mario Cuomo who wants the spot.
I always vote for the third party candidate with the most vowels.

It is rumored that Robert Gates will step down as Secretary of Defense because he disagrees with Obama's soft engagement plan approach with Iran.
Gates has warned that Israel will never let Iran get a nuclear weapon and letting Iran continue to develop one will lead to a nuclear conflict in the Middle East.
